{The New Thing-ee On The Old Keyboard}

So I know I've gotten more personal lately with my posts, but is it just me or has the use of "{" and "}" replaced "(" and ")"?  I remember in 7th grade typing class thinking, "What is "{" and "}"?   I've seen it used more in the last six months than in my whole life.  Especially on blogs and websites...yet, still not in everyday life.

Must say.....I do love anything that is a little more foo-foo and/or frilly, so I am on the "{" and "}" bandwagon.  Let's be honest, it does add a tiny bit more life to what you are saying via typed phrases. {Whomever made up the use of the "open brace/close brace" filled with text, I want you to know I fully acknowledge I'm copying you.: ) }
